McKissick Museum to host annual fundraiser exhibition

Patricia Moore-Pastides and the McKissick Museum Advisory Council will host the 15th annual spring gala, “Spring for Art!: Wonder and Curiosity,” 7:30 – 10 p.m. March 27 at the museum on the University of South Carolina’s historic Horseshoe.

Tickets are $55 for individuals and $100 for couples.

Works by 50 artists with strong South Carolina ties will be on display and for sale, with a portion of proceeds directly benefiting the museum.

“Spring for Art!” is an invitational exhibition and sale of works by artists on themes reflecting the South Carolina Midlands. The event offers a unique opportunity to interact with the artists, some of whom include Mary Gilkerson and David Russell.
