Faculty to know...
The face of Carolina is changing. As large numbers of faculty retire and new faculty representing the spectrum of disciplines join the ranks, the pool of expert sources for reporters will expand. To help reporters get to know our faculty, we will highlight several faculty members each week. Create a file or visit the USC News Web site (http://uscnews.sc.edu) for additional experts and news items.
Meet three of USC's College of Hospitality, Retail and Sport Management faculty:
Deborah Fowler, director of the Center for Retailing and associate professor of retailing, studies and researches topics related to retailing in general, holiday retailing, tax-free weekends, retail technology and apparel quality.
John Grady, J.D., assistant professor of sport and entertainment management, studies Americans with Disabilities Act compliance in sport and entertainment facilities, intellectual property law issues in sport and entertainment and Web site accessibility for people with disabilities.
Dr. Steve Morse, professor of tourism and economist, is an expert on hotel, restaurant and tourism economic and financial issues. His research interests include tourism economic impact studies, airline economics, hospitality taxation issues and consumer trends.
And don't forget these recent USC faculty spotlights ...
