ATTENTION ...... Metro, Education and Broadcast editors: University to announce major hire in nanotechnology, fuel cells The University is expected to announce Wednesday (Dec. 12) the hiring of an internationally known researcher in the fields of polymer nanocomposites and fuel cells. A news release will be distributed Wednesday and interviews will be available by phone after 3 p.m. The scientist will be the head of the Center of Economic Excellence for Polymer Nanocomposite Research at the university.

Metro, Business and Broadcast editors: University, Greenville Tech to announce agreement The university and Greenville Technical College will announce an agreement that will help aspiring student entrepreneurs. The event will take place at 9:30 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 13, on the campus of Greenville Technical College in the administration boardroom. University President Andrew Sorensen and Greenvile Tech President Thomas E. Barton will speak.
