ATTENTION ...... Metro, Business, Sports, Broadcast editors: The game is on! USC hosts for sport-entertainment conference Some of the nation’s top sport and entertainment industry leaders are in Columbia today (Thursday, Nov. 15) through Saturday, Nov. 17, for the University of South Carolina’s conference on sport and entertainment. Sponsored by the department of sport and entertainment management, the conference will take place at the Columbia Metropolitan Convention Center. The opening keynote address is from 4:30-5:30 p.m. with Kym Houghman, executive director of the Wachovia Championship. A reception follows at The Zone at Williams-Brice Stadium at 7 p.m.
