ATTENTION ...... Metro, Political and Broadcast editors:
So…whose party is it, anyway?
The results of a longitudinal survey of South Carolinians and their political-party identification will be the subject of a discussion Thursday, Nov. 8, at the university. Titled "Democrats, Independents, Republicans and the S.C. Presidential Primaries: One Prize, Many Hunters,” the event will take place in Room 250, Gambrell Hall.
Two longtime consultants, Democratic strategist Crawford Cook and GOP strategist Warren Tompkins III, will discuss the results of the survey, which was done by the university’s Institute of Public Service and Policy Research, and their implications for the presidential primaries in the state.
To arrange coverage, call Peggy Binette at 803-777-5400.
