Details for Nov. 7 memorial service honoring lives of students


The University of South Carolina has released the following details for reporters who plan to attend the memorial service at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 7, at the Koger Center.

The service is planned for members of their immediate families and the university family.

SCETV will broadcast the service live. Television stations can take the live feed or get footage of the service by contacting SCETV directly. The service may be viewed online at this Web address: http://www.sc.edu/specialevents/.

No TV cameras will be allowed in the performance hall. Still photographers will be allowed but will not be allowed to roam. TV cables will not be allowed inside the Koger lobby.

Rows T and U inside the Koger Center performance hall have been reserved for reporters who wish to attend the service.

Doors to the Koger Center will open at 1:15 p.m.

Parking for broadcast reporters with equipment will be available on Greene Street between Assembly and Park streets. All reporters must enter the Koger Center through doors on Greene Street. Media Relations staff members will be available to escort media to designated seating.
