President Sorensen to deliver state of university address Oct. 3

University of South Carolina President Andrew Sorensen will deliver his state of the university address at 3 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 3, in Longstreet Theatre. Sorensen, who became the university’s 27th president in July 2002, will review Carolina’s progress over the last five years, particularly its academic, research and outreach accomplishments, as well as look ahead to the university’s future.

As part of the address, Sorensen will make an announcement about Innovista and economic growth.
