Students, alumni are ‘Bringing Back the Spirit’ for Homecoming

Carolina students and alumni are “Bringing Back the Spirit” for Homecoming 2007. Events are planned throughout the week, leading up to the football game between the Gamecocks and Mississippi Bulldogs. Major events include the Cockfest pep-rally on Thursday, the Reunion Party and Alumni Awards Gala on Friday and the Gameday Party on Saturday. These events offer media good visual and story opportunities.

Other photo opportunities include an exhibition of canned creations on Tuesday, Sept. 25, in front of Russell House and an outdoor exhibition of wooden murals that capture the homecoming theme on Davis Field by Thomas Cooper Library.
