South Carolina chief research economist can provide outlook


South Carolina chief research economist Dr. Doug Woodward can discuss the state of the South Carolina economy as fall approaches. Woodward oversees the Division of Research for the Moore School of Business, which conducts economic impact studies relevant to the state and economic indicators for South Carolina. Economic Indicators for August, 2007 are posted on the web site: http://mooreschool.sc.edu/moore/research/.

Last week, Woodward released a report on "The Economic and Social Implications of Latinos in South Carolina," with Dr. Elaine Lacy of the university's Consortium for Latino Immigration Studies.
