Peter Chapman to discuss global corporate greed April 7
Financial Times journalist Peter Chapman will give a lecture and sign copies of his recently released book, “Bananas! How the United Fruit Company Shaped the World,” at 2:30 p.m. Monday, April 7 in Lumpkin Auditorium on the eighth floor of the Moore School of Business. Released in January, Chapman’s book relates the dubious business practices of the pioneering importer United Fruit to today’s global marketplace. Business reporters are invited to attend the talk, and Chapman will be available immediately after his talk for interviews.
