Record oil prices have consumers, economy on roller coaster

Oil prices hit a new high on Monday. And those record oil prices have consumers and the economy on a roller coaster of uncertainty.

Dr. Chris Kendall, a University of South Carolina geology professor and an expert in the field of oil and petroleum, can discuss the volatility of the market, the impact that oil exploration has on costs and the future for cheap oil and gas. Kendall has been a consultant for some of the world’s largest oil companies and also is an expert on oil fields and exploration in the Middle East and Venezuela.

To arrange interviews with Kendall, call Karen Petit at 803-777-5400.
