Metro, Health, Education and Broadcast editors: Arnold School students to unveil recycling program April 1 Graduate students in Dr. Daniela Friedman’s health communications class at the Arnold School of Public Health will unveil a recycling campaign for the community and university during a 5 – 7 p.m. reception Monday, April 1, at the State Museum. The reception is part of the S.C. Department of Health and Environmental Control’s observance of Public Health Month in South Carolina. The students received a $2,000 grant from the Associations of School of Public Health for the campaign, “This Is Public Health,” from April 7 – 13.

Metro, Feature and Broadcast editors: C-SPAN CEO to highlight annual I-COMM Week March 31 – April 4 The College of Mass Communications and Information Studies will celebrate the fifth anniversary of its annual I-Comm Week March 31 – April 4. Professionals from the communications industry will participate in lectures, panel discussions, presentations and social events. Brian Lamb, C-SPAN CEO and chairman, will give the keynote address at 7 p.m. Thursday, April 3 in the law school auditorium.
